FUN Comparisons by Gender and Grade

This page shows differences in how much fun boys and girls thought the 8 games would be to play. Overall fun ratings are shown first, comparing 5th+6th graders with 7th+8th graders and boys with girls. Statistical significance of gender and grade differences are reported, as well as any interaction effect (int).

Next results for 5th grade girl promos, 5th grade boy promos, 8th grade girl promos, and 8th grade boy promos are reported.

Finally, the combined girl promos are analyzed, followed by combined boy promos. Results are extremely consistent and highly significant.

Overall Fun Ratings Combining All 8 Promos

Boys liked the game promos significantly better overall than girls did.

5th and 6th graders rated the games significantly higher overall than 7th and 8th graders did.
